router table

New to forum.
I have extension table on my table saw, and I saw somewhere how to use that wooden extension table as a router table to save space in a small shop.  Can someone find discussion on how to convert that table to a 1400 router table.  Many thanks

Search for  1400 router table check the box  for "search in subject topics only"    I just tried and got a good number of threads , probably something useful for in them.

guido has a couple of videos out where he shows how he attaches a festool router to a table.

Basically he routes in paralell 2 grooves and attaches the edge guide rods into the router , places the rods w/ router into the grooves and uses a strong back to hold the rods in place.
