RS 2 E

Ok anks Garry...I could use one right ow for my dx 93,  in the future I'll need one when I get an rs 2 e.
 
Garry if two are for me I can give them up to someone else, I ordered four more today of the 110V 420 mm(494910). Or I'll take extras if someone does not follow through. Eventually I will change over about 15 of my tools little by little.

I put  a pigtail on my RS2 today works great.

I ordered 4 of these last Friday and they are due here in the states any day now.  As of now I still don't have the CT-22 or any non  Plug-It Festool tools, so these will be pigtails waiting for tools.  Even if I convert my Porter-Cable RO sanders, I'll have a few extra for a while, available if you really need one ASAP.

2 were for you, but it sounds like wnagle could use some.  Sounds like "one R" Gary has some that he could get sooner, though....

Well I could use one for sure or two if available... down the road a few more... now that you mention converting some non festool tools.... the festool vac hoses fit everything in my arsenal, so why not have pigtails on them...  I never disassembled any festools, they come apart and go back together pretty easy nick?

I would like in the future to add pigtails to a few tools of my own but would like to know how difficult the process is as well.

It took me ten minutes to put the pigtail on the RS2, super simple. You need the star drivers for the screw removal.

I suggest  that you DO NOT use a drill/driver to put the screws back in. I had my clutch on 2 and it still snapped one screw. Now part of the screw is in the plastic and the rest of the screw just spins, but the other screws are holding the cover on fine for now. I'll fix it if it ever loosens up.I would use a hand driver if I did it again.

I am converting my Fein Multimaster and a Porter Cable mini belt sander next.

anyone have any extra pigtails for converting the RS 2 E?  I've got a little down time this month, and it's been on my list for awhile...

I am ordering some more next week, if you want in let me know. I should have bought them all at once. Every time I use them up I find something else I need them for. This is the third order in the last two months!

I have a spare one.  I bought 4 a few weeks ago, haven't received my RS 2 E yet and haven't used the others either.  Send me at email if you want one.

I ordered 10, and I need 3.  The site Nikao, referred me to had one available, so they ordered them from the motherland.  As soon as I see them (or at least shipping confirmation) I'll let all of you know.  Sorry for the delay, but I'm not in charge....(yet ;D)
 
It looks like between me and Garry there should be enough to go around.I am not ordering until the earliest Monday so others can think about it.

I do not want Garry getting stuck with any he does not want so lets buy up his first since I have not ordered yet.
