rts 400 req - does you sander pull in one direction?

hello everyone, please pardon my ignorance. i just recently got a rts 400 and am wondering if this is just the nature of the beast. Does your rts pull to the right? i also have a ets 150 and i can almost let go of the thing and it will stay put. if i do the same with the rts it will will fly off the table. i don't have alot of experience with these sanders so i don't know if this is normal. its not a huge deal but i do have to grip the sander significantly tighter which leads to more fatigue in long sanding sessions. thanks for any info.

Ones an orbital, the other a random orbital that rotates in a planetary fashion.  They will of course have different unloaded movement bias: interactions of friction and inertia will manifest themselves in different ways.

Provided the sideways bias is neither violent or unexpected there's nothing wrong.  Just take a "firm but loose" grip & show them who's boss.
