Thinking about picking up an RTS 400 REQ. I've read some decent reviews. Anybody use one?

The RTS400 is an awesome and handy sander. Especially for faceframes and trim. But the DTS400 is worth looking at as even more of a problem solver because of the delta front end...it can do everything the RTS can do, and get right down to the point.

Here's an example of the impact the DTS can have in finish prep:

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info! Yes, the delta head looks very nice. I have a rotex 90 and the delta detail attachment comes in handy.
I was looking at the RTS 400 as an option when my rotex 90 is in use.
The link you sent is right on.. I can’t imagine not using Festool now.. Very efficient and the job-site is much cleaner.

If you do a ot of sanding the RTS can be a big help, very nice sander.

I agree with Scott that the DTS is an even nicer sander, by far IMHO.

I have both, and the DTS does 95% of the tasks and the RTS 5%. Handling of the DTS is so much better due to the wider base and with the delta head it gets into corners easily.
