Finished up another coffee table a little while ago. Local black walnut top and feet. Salvaged wide flange beam for the base. Adjustable feet for those uneven floors. Lots of inlay work.  A couple of different techniques from the last one. It’s available if any one is interested  [big grin]

You weren't kidding about the inlays :)

So how much does that weight? Can two people pick it up? Hard to judge size without a reference.

^^ This.

I've seen some pretty massive girders in my time, curious the overall dimensions as well! :)

It's a beautiful piece! Love those layered inlays. What did you use to finish the steel beam?

Thanks

Top is about 1.75 thick and it is 17.5 high, 46 long, 22 wide at the wide end, 18 wide at the narrow end

A friend of mine has a body shop and I get him to clear coat it for me.

I think the beam is a W 12 x 26 so about 75 or so pounds. I can pick it up enough to put it on a 4 wheel dolly.  [eek] My wife and I can move it around and put it in the trailer. Although she doesn’t like to.  [big grin]

My son could do it by himself but then I could too when I was 35.
