Sanding cabinets question

I have the Festool Pro 5 sander.  Looking to add the DTS 400 or RTS 400 for corners.  What model sandpaper and grits should I invest in for cabinet boxes made out of plywood?  I’m just getting into cabinet making as a hobby and finishing is something I’m trying to learn.

If you're talking about sanding the inside of the cabinet boxes, consider doing this before putting them together. Then you can sand them while flat and save yourself a lot of time.

I will often use plywood that is pre-finished on one side and put that to the inside of the cabinet. Then there is no sanding or other finishing work required.

Finish on scrap pieces first and write the formula down on the back.

You're wise to ask the questions first, enjoy your journey!

I second this strategy.  Maple plywood that’s prefinished on one side with a clear coat is a great time saver.

Any recommendations on which Festool sandpaper to use?  I see they have a lot of options
You can go with Granat since it will sand both Raw Wood/Unfinished wood, and finishes if you need that.  Or, for just Raw Wood, use Rubin 2.
