I’m really impressed with the 90° sanding guide that festool has come out with for the newer ETS Sanders. Is anyone aware of some thing that will work with my ETS 150/5? I don’t believe it’s possible to make the new sanding guide work with it, but maybe I’m wrong.

I am in the same boat. Would love to have the sanding edge guide but my only sander is the ETS 150/5. DTS400 would probably be next but I am not planing to purchase that any time soon.

So I made a jig based on these plans for the ETS 150/5:
The plans are for an older version of the 125 sander though. But he has another set of plans for a disc sander jig, which I think uses the ETS 150/5:
I think I ended up using the disc sander jig plans and adopted them a little to make it more appropriate for an edge sander.

Mine is not 100% square and has some minimal movement. It's within my tolerance level though and it makes sanding edge soooooooo much easier.

There are probably ways to improve with a better clamping mechanisms. I am open to ideas!  :)

My edging guide hasn't arrived yet, but I wonder if it's 100% square in use. For sanding functions, I don't think a little off matters at all.

I saw someone posting here about a review using the edging guide for another Festool sander, but I forgot the model number.
