Wanted to share my experience and get others feed back on the proper sander + grit sequence using the RO 125 + ETS 150/3...
After much reading on the forums and experiementing I think I finally figured out a sequence that works...
1. Start with the RO 125 in rough mode using the highest grit necessary to remove the imperfections.
2. Continue with the RO 125 in rough mode up to 120 grit
3. Switch the RO 125 to Fine mode again using the 120 grit
4. Move to the ETS 150/3 using 80 grit. This removes most of the swirls left by the RO 125.
5. Continue with ETS 150/3, switch to 120 grit. After this all of the RO 125 swirls are gone.
6. Continue with the ETS 150/3 moving up the grits as desired.
Prior to this sequence, I used the same grit when moving from the RO 125 to the ETS...had a heck of a time removing the RO 125 marks. Moving down a grit at the time of the switch seems to have solved the problem.
I'm interested in hearing about other experience with the same sanders?
Thanks
