Saw blade manufacture

I was shocked by how long it takes to make each blade.  Every carbide tooth individually brazed on, every tooth individually sharpened.  And it seemed to take 10-15 seconds for each of these tasks on each tooth.  And the manual human hand work required on each blade.  I have an 80 tooth cross cut blade.  It might have taken 5-8 minutes to make it.  I am operating under the assumption this video is representative of how all carbide saw blades are made.  Some might be made a little quicker and cheaper I suspect.

[member=13115]RussellS[/member] you also have to take into account that that video was published in 2015. That's mean the technology used in the video was in production in early 2010. I'm pretty sure the same video of today's manufacture is faster and better.
