Sawhelper or Kapex extensions

I take my Kapex around to jobsites, and it is sitting on an MFT/Kapex and I'm using the MFT/3 to support longer pieces of wood.
I'm having trouble deciding between the Sawhelper and the Kapex Extensions which are coming to the US soon.

Anyone have any thoughts on which would be preferable?

For this is a no brainer, the Sawhelper all the way. It has continuous support extensions, easy to transport and setup, plus it costs much less.

Any word on when Sawhelper will be back up and running?  I placed an order several months ago, and haven't gotten any response to my follow-ups.  I understand that they are changing their production method.

I'd consider making your own.  Here's what I did -http://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php?topic=4923.0 and others have done similar.

If you have an MFT/3, you can adapt these extensions to work on it as well for those situations where you have to crosscut long material. 

I debated the Festoool extensions, but at $700 they were way too much money for something that you can easily make.  I had not looked at the Saw Helpers.

I have since remade the legs on these - they no longer brace to the MFT table but do directly to the ground with adjustable 1x4 folding wooden legs.  Gives me a lot more flexibility.

I love the design, and built something very similar.  I incorporated Incra Tracks and T-Track into my design, for crown and cut-off stops and measurement.  It works great for the shop, but is taking a beating when I "go mobile".  I have an old Rigid MSUV for site work, and use the roller arms to support the extensions.  The stand is  starting to fall apart, and it takes forever to setup. 

I don't currently use the Kapex, but bought the new 12" Milwaukee slider.  For the same price, I could get it and the Sawhelper.
