Sawstop compact table saw

A very comprehensive coverage of the saw and the adjustment steps. Looks like the adjustment process is pretty well designed.

Did you notice or have the "flaw" with your saw that this compact saw user reported a little earlier?

David covers that in detail in his video. There is a fence rail support that can be adjusted to remove or minimize that play. Ron Paulk also mentions it in one of his reviews of the saw, but David covers it much more thoroughly.

One of the comments left on the YouTube video says only sausages, not a real finger, are used in all the SawStop demos.

Dr Gass, the inventor, did test his technology with his own finger:

Someone else has also tried it in a recorded video (with either the SawStop or the Bosch finger-saving technology), using his hand instead of a single finger.

I've seen the test videos with hot dogs plenty of times and it's always a, "Wow, that's crazy." Seeing his finger in there, it's just a whole other level of amazing.
