Screw organisation

If anyone in the US is looking for the printer mentioned, many of the mails order / Internet sites are honoring a Brother promotion for $30 off that ends 5/25/2013.  So if you are on the fence...

The machine mentioned uses label stock that is usually used by the hand held machines that laminates the label with a clear plastic film.  Very durable.

Thanks to this thread I found out that my QL-570 which I bought during the Fogtainer project for an incredible close out deal of like $30 can print not only on the normal paper labels but also on a plastic film although it does not laminate over them.

Have fun labeling!

So, just ordered the P Touch too.

Makkus PM'd me to ask if I would share the PowerPoint file with the graphics and layout in them. Delighted to.  [big grin]

In the ZIP file attached is the PowerPoint file with each of the individual graphics for the screw head and types, and some pre-populated layouts on individual pages. All I do is "Copy All" (CTRL-A) on everything on the page, "Copy" it (CTRL-C) and then move over to the P-touch software and "Paste" (CTRL-V). Then resize to your label size and type.

I've also included the P-touch label file with an example in it for reference.

I've saved the PowerPoint file in the 97-2003 format so should work for most people, even if using a compatible program. I've also changed the font I used originally as it's not a standard one and wouldn't have worked for everyone.

Excellent.  Thanks very much!

does anyone have any idea if you can buy different sized bins for the stanley deep case?  they only include 2 sizes when you buy it and i would like ones 1/2 the size of smaller one width wise  and one 1/2 the size of the larger one length wise (long and skinny)

i actually custom made a some for one case but it took a while and i am not sure of the strength

the top right shows the smaller size i want    ill try to take a picture of it when i was finished and post it later

i finally found something 2P10 doesn't stick to, the plastic these bins are made of

Thanks for the attachment.  Wondering when you did your internet search, how you got the graphics.  When I do a internet search for "screw graphics" the offered site's are NOT what my original intent was..  You get the drift!! :)

As I also have "bolts" that I wish to print labels for and some "bolt graphics" would be nice.

Use Google to search for something like "screw heads", but when you get the results, click on Images.

Garry - This is great!  This will be put to use right away.  Thanks very much for sharing these!

I'm just trying to figure out how to do it. I use PP 2010 and have a QL-570 with 29x 90 labels. So getting the label configured to fit as been fun. Also, with the addition of the bolts I'll keep trying. Thanks again.
