Second Domino Assortment Systainer or Packages

So my domino assortment systainer is pretty depleted. I've bought a few small extra packages of dominos (~300) to replenish the ones I use most common (ex, 4mm and 5mm), however all of the sizes could use a top-up.

What are peoples thoughts on buying a second domino assortment systainer instead of individual packages? My main reason was getting the cutters as mine are due to break when I need it and they seem like a pretty good value in the assortment. The biggest negative is the value of the actual dominos isn't near the value of purchasing the individual packages of say 300.

I mean...who are we to stand in the way of another systainer?

I would just advise, though, that you can get the cutters for cheaper from CMT, so you can perhaps do a recalculation just on the basis of the tenons and see if it's still worth it:http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/cmt-cutting-bits-for-the-domino/

I generally just buy them by the package. Not that I would mind having another extra systainer and the extra bits, I just try and stay ahead of the game and never let myself run to low. Speaking of which, I should purchase some new bits [wink]

I just buy them by the package when needed. I bought the assortment systainer when I first got my Domino and I've had to top off the 5mm and 6mm dominos a few times now, but the original stock of 8's and 10's are still full.

If you know youre going to need to replace the cutters at some point, need more dominos and could use another sys-2, why not?

If you need the cutters too.. get the whole systainer package.

Then with the left over systainer you can make a SIPO Domino assortment systainer.
