I'm looking at going down the same path a the festool equipment for my vacuum clamping setup, so trying to get a oil free vacuum pump from Busch.

SECO SV 1003 D. Part Number 1261146335

New in Australia delivered, filter, no vacuum gauge, "ready out of the box" $1800

From doscornio ( no model given) delivered, ready to go, filter, vacuum gauge, a nice stand etc around $2100 - if the shipping is 500euro.
It will cost about the same to get all the parts I want from festool spares in Australia, once they are all of backorder.

I have found a few on eBay, 1 is built 2019, "tested, working" delivered to aus $440ish.

I guess what I'm trying to debate with myself, is it worth going for the cheap eBay version, and accepting I may need to rebuild it but coming out infront, or spend around almost 5x that much for a new unit.

The other difference is in the type model.
Festool seems to end 045, the one I've found ends in 046, but looks identical in size and spec.

Hoping someone with more knowledge has gone this path already, and it's not an issue.....

Are you looking for the supplier of Festool's vacuum pump? If so here are some photos I took of the inside.

Thanks cheese, I've been looking for and saving as many pics so can from FOG, to try and work out what I'm doing.
I ended up pulling the trigger last night on the eBay seco sv 1003 D pump I was looking at.
At $450aud delivered, that leaves quite a bit of wiggle room for a service if it needs it, and parts from festool like a check valve and a vacuum gauge, etc before I hit the 2k cost of a brand new one.
Will find out in about 2 weeks whether I stuffed up 😁

Ok, so now im onto fittings and hose sizes.........
All of the threads ive found end up mentioning milton fittings, ive found some on amazon, a 14 piece red milton coupler and plug kit set for 20bucks...... could work, .

The official festool items seem to be around 190 aud for the quick connects, and the male fittings around 87 aud.

Are the airline fittings the same - like could i use parts from the IAS2/3 etc for the vacuum clamp/pump setup
I can get a double adapter which is now under 1/2 price on clearance, with 2 QC fittings, like below, will these work for vacuum clamping, then i would need to work out the air line size after.

Looks to be a standard fitting, same as some pneumatic equipment I've bought previously. Can't quite remember the type name though, Milton?

Milton is what pops up in almost all the vac sys threads.
The top of the y looks like a milton.
A different pic in another FOG thread shows the brand prevost, of which there is a company which sells them in OZ.
Those fittings are between 50 adn 75 each, much MUCH cheaper than the grey and green.
But, the only indication they take Milton fittings is the pic,

Same?

Yep, the exact same thing, but half the amount.

WIll probably order this when i get home tomorrow or monday, as the vac pad setup is all push release, which im not too keen on, from what ive read.

I found some awesomely cheap festo connectors, was pretty keen, till i checked the freight cost.....
Jb tools was exactly the same cost, in USD.

Id have to work out exactly what size hose i want, and what connectors and get them all in one go, if i was to go this way.

Others have used the Prevost QD connectors successfully and they are much cheaper than the Festool variety. Here are some photos of the different plug connections that mate with the factory Festool QD connector.
1. Festool steel and Husky HF aluminum, HF is for high flow
2. Milton brass HF
3. Husky aluminum HF
4. Milton aluminum HF
5. Prevost steel HF
