[attachthumb=3][attachthumb=2][attachthumb=2]I laid this floor about 12 years ago and decided to add a border.  (Something I should have done when I laid it)
I used the TS55 to cut the field perimeter ready to accept a border.
Once laid it was sanded and the photo's show the first coat of seal, Junckers Prelak as this helps to keep the colour lighter. This I felt was important as I wanted the Maple to be distinct from the oak.

Great looking floor and love how the grains are all arranged.
The ts55 on the rails is made for this type of work but do you use something else to cut all the smaller pieces?

I laid this as an experiment around 12 years ago after making up a sample board of the same pattern.
Each piece is cut from 20 mm parquet blocks using a Dewalt flip over saw as a table saw using the sliding mitre guauge and the rip fence.  It took about 6 hours to cut all the pieces (the floors about 4.5 sqm).
