I really enjoy his take on Festool products and various jigs and how-to's. It has been close to 10 months since he has posted anything on his site, or here.

I hope he has not come onto some misfortune. Does anyone have an update?

Cheers,

Peter

I contacted him around 6 months ago since I noticed he wasn't around any more. He was fine, just extremely busy with one of his other hobbies.

The easiest way to get Paul to respond is to post in multiple Woodworking forums something about the actress Megan Fox-  for some strange reason she's his Kryptonite....  He typically posts back in less than a day.... really funny    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

And what might this other hobby be? [tongue]

He's gotten into circus arts.  (And you thought I was kidding...)
Hopefully he's 'right on the money' when he's flying through the air instead of a 1/2" shy..... ;D

I wish he would start making some more videos too, they were some of the inspiration for my own youtube channel.

I have heard him mention a "day job", something to do with computers I think.  He may be really busy at work.

I sent him an email a couple of weeks ago and he said he was very busy with work.  Also saw him on FB doing some aerial ropes.

ha ha, it looks like he's having WAY more fun than hanging out in the ol' FOGgies chat room endlessly moaning about getting systainers without an anniversary latch logo or contributing to yet another scintillating discussion about casting marks on the bottom of tools...
Good for you Marcel!  While you are indeed being missed, I'm sure that people getting new tools and really wanting to use them will some-way and some-how figure out how to do so without sitting on their butts for endless hours watching videos instead.  But, let us know your touring schedule--I, for one, would pay good money to see some acro-lady perform some breakdancing using your head as a mat...

I wish that Paul would be around more but although he does have air conditioning in his shop, the summer temps where he lives probably still make working in there not the most enjoyable unless one was to max the electric bill.
