I was afraid you would say that... [big grin]

Hi Tim -
Yes - but not for awhile. The tooling was damaged, and it would be about $250,000 to start up again. That's a big hit, for a low volume/low margin product. It was one of those products that many aspired to own, but few realized their aspirations...I suppose on the assumption that it would always be available. When we announced that production was ending - people got off the fence pretty quickly...
Cheers -

wow kinda makes you wonder how mad someone got. I mean, to break the tools that make a vise?? [laughing]
I'd get one as well now. I didn't have the space to use it years back, now I do.

mikeneron said:Hey Rob, not sure if you will even see this post, but I emailed the Lee Valley customer service asking if you guys were going to carry any accessories for older Festool items. They said they will only support products and accessories from the Festool line that you currently carry. Bummer.
The item in particular I am asking about are the new fleece bags for the CT 22 dust extractors. The product number for these is 456870 and they come in a package of 5.

Free shipping pushed me over the edge!
