I have the carvex jigsaw and was wondering if the cordless is liked more.  I have batteries and chargers from other tools, so I could sell my corded and get the cordless for a small amount, but not sure if it is worth it.  What do you guys think?

I found the corded carvex more refined.  For example, when flipped upside down and then right side up again the light on the cordless does not come back on.  You have to turn it off and back on again.  Also, the cordless blade doesn’t stop as fast as the corded...it seems to hesitate trying to figure out where to stop.

It just depends on how you use your jig saw. I have both corded & cordless Carvexs in my work truck & shop. I cannot think of the last time I used the corded Carvexs. There are differences in how they operate, but not enough to out weigh the convenience of the cordless.

Remember, you can get the cordless Carvex & try it out for 30 days. If you do not like it, return it.

My cordless Carvex and Fein Supercut reside in my van...their corded cousins live in my shop.

I switched the corded D handle for a cordless barrel Carvex.
For me it was definitely worth the switch. I had the batteries already so it was just the cost of the tool.
Besides the handle difference I find the cordless so much ‘handier’ to use.  Especially when cutting tight or intricate shapes.  No cord to get in the way or tangled.
Plus, I can take my Carvex out to my shed that’s 100ft from power - no need to drag cords.  Overall more convenient.
I did notice the blade stop issue that someone else mentioned.  The issue with that is using the blade discharge switch.  Though, I did have issues with the corded as well.  The blade shooter didn’t always work on the corded either.
