In an effort to free up more space in my 1 car garage workshop I am toying with the idea of selling my Dewalt DWS780 and replacing it with a nonsliding equivalent. I purchased the 780 before having many of my other tools and thought it would be good to have due to its versatility. Now, I feel like its just taking up way too much space and the depth of the saw is killing so much room I could use. Since buying the saw I purchased a Contractor size table saw, TS55, and just ordered an MFT/3. Other than the deeper full length cuts I cant come up with a scenario that I would be unable to manage if I didn't have the sliding saw. Am I not seeing a situation where I will miss having the added capacity?
P.S. I am a hobbiest and this will reside primarily in the shop.
Thanks!
