I have a client that I need to send a Sketchup file to but he can't figure out how to open up the file using the program.  Is there a way that I can take a snapshot of my drawing to send to him via email?  I've seen others post images of their sketchup drawings so there must be a way to do this.

You can use the PrintScreen button on your keyboard to take a screenshot. Then open up MS Paint and on the menu choose Edit>Paste. You'll see the screenshot appear in Paint. Then you can safe it as a JPG or whatever you want, and send the pic as an attachment through email.

SketchUp has an export function that allows you to just what you want. Go to the: File>Export>2D Graphic and you'll be able to save the model as it is shown on your screen at that time, there are a few options for saving the file, jpg, png, quality and so on.

PdfCreator is another great option.  It looks like a printer driver but creates a pdf file that universally viewable.
