I had a problem some of you may remember with my Domino and the "hammer-head" shark attachments.  Festo was very quick to service this problem; I sent the tool to Lebanon, Indiana for re-alignment and the total time away from my shop was about six  days.

I also had great service with Festool.
I had to send back my C12. UPS picked it up at my house and brang it back within the week.
Also got a free domino cutter after mine broke.

While in Lebanon recently, I was interested to observe that there are only two repair techs for the US and neither was very stressed.  No backlog of tools waiting to be fixed, no piles of stuff, just two guys in very neat work areas and all the parts, jigs, fixtures and specialized tools right at hand.  They said they turned every tool around by no later than the day after receipt.  Many go out the same day.  Bottom line, there are not very many tools sent back for repair.

When asked, they said the most common repair was for normal wear items like changing brushes and changing the dust shield on the older RO150 sanders - both parts were shipped with the sander when new and both are easy to change yourself.  When I asked about Domino adjustments they both said nearly all the few Domino machines that are sent back are spot on and cut properly.  They still disassemble and clean them, replace anything they can find to replace, then reassemble and check everything before sending them back spot on and cutting properly.

Sounds like my dream of a perfect job to have!

My perfect job would be testing the tools before they're released, let somebody else fix them.
