Anything for a grasshopper !!!

Kreg, those are great jobs.  I see you have not lost your knack for grooving the back sections.  You might be interested to know a lot of guys use a thing called "bead board" for that.  Just thought you would like to know. [scratch chin]

Nice work!!!

Brush & roller, really!......look great!!

Birch ply for the door panels?
Every use mdf? And if so what was your paint, especially primer for mdc

The doors I do use mdf. Cus I can put a profile edge them. Then I pin nail and glue base cap for applied molding. And it paints up real nice.

I have used birch ply for doors. With iron on edge banding. But sometimes they warp a bit and have to add magnet to hold door in.

Well done, Kreg.  Let me know when you'd like to have an apprentice for a few days.

awesome! question how do you go about a warped ceiling (about 1/4in gap from crown) and caulking for a seamless look?

also do you work right next to the built ins or do all the cutting outside or if the room is upstairs. would love to see the process photos!

Thanks. I usually set up my portable shop in the customers garage. Set up my Paulk work table and do all the cutting assembly their and then carry it in to spot.  Sometimes if working alone I assemble near Builtin spot then set in place

Upstairs sucks !!  But same deal. All my jobs are in houses that are occupied. I do not work for builders and never will.

Here is one picture of set up on driveway as it was a beautiful day. Usually I set in up in garage cuz I am usually there're several days and I leave it till done

Tee,

Not a lot you can do. You can float out ceiling to level.
You can caulk. And paint. Which is what I do. And with it usually 8'-10' ceiling. It really does not stand out.  Just do the best you can

thanks for the advice! another question...im about to do a job like this for family/friend whats the typical cost for a job like this and the price you charge with cabinet shaker faces along with blum soft closing hinges and draw slides? 1500-3000 range? thank you kind sir! ;D

enjoy the pics and thanks for posting your youtube site! - It's always appreciated to see how those of you who do this for a living complete your jobs.  [thumbs up]
