Shaper Origin or 48 x 48 CNC?

Yes Tom, they are pre-measured and marked.
I'm the un-trusting type who would run the test pattern first anyway though.

I was just looking at the pic of your machine again. Where is the operator control area?

The controller is mobile, it is parked outside the safety sensor inline with the machine end of the infeed rack. The umbilical cord on the floor is routed to the controller.

The computers that we design on are in the offices or we access the computers remotely. Designs are sent to the machine via WiFi.

I’m getting a post production program that will allow me to run Fusion 360 on the machine.

The girls decided the machine needed some sprucing up…..

Oh, ok. Ours both have fairly large, fixed controller stations, immediately to the right of the machine, as viewed from the front.
Though we have WIFI in the building, these machines are all hardwired to the servers. The operators of the main machine pull up the program they want with a barcode scanner.
I do it, on the secondary machine, buy following the path by hand, off of the out-put sheet, which is in every job folder, along with the small printout of the drawing.  Though, I usually just go from the AutoCAD files or the full size shop drawings.
We use the WIFI primarily for the time clock function on our phones.

The right CNC can also be used as a small slab flattener up to its size limits, depending on whether or not that is part of your current workflow/repertoire.
