Shipping - Are missing and damaged parts typical? Or is it just UPS.

The title of this thread is a copy and paste from another thread and since this is my "response"  I felt it would be better to answer in the Dealer Area.
UPS can be brutal in shipping, so my warehouse (more correctly my fulfilment company) and I agree that it simply good business to overpack each package, using a way bigger box (even if incurs extra fees from UPS for oversize packages) so we can add extra bubblewrap/air pillows/paper to help ensure a pristine package is delivered to my customers.
This is my delivery of the CXS drill (systainer 1). Note the size of the box and the size of the systainer 1. I had to use a knife to cut through the several layers of bubble wrap.
We ain't perfect, but we are trying!

Bob's not kidding.  I got out my utility knife, and cut and cut, and pulled tape off and the package got smaller and smaller - I had to keep saying, "no Bob's not just messing with me, there really is a drill in there somewhere".  Finally got to the systainer and everything was in perfect shape.

Thanks Bob!

+ whatever number I would be

I used to try a figure out how to get it apart in one piece, it is way easier to just cut it off
