I have a planex easy that needs to be sent back for repair.  I don't have the original box, and am not sure how to ship it back.  Anyone have any idea on where to get a box big enough for this?  I contacted my local dealer to see if they had one that I could get from them, but was not successful.  Any ideas?

I would call Festool service department. They do offer kapex boxes for service on request. Maybe they do that for the planex also.

Already tried that, they told me they’re not allowed to send out empty boxes anymore.  They’re actually the ones that suggested I go to the local dealer.

Oh okay.
Then maybe visit an appliance store. You will have to modify a large box to fit your needs.
Is the unit under warranty?
If so I would build a wooded crate for it since Festool pays shipping.
Just a thought.
I built a wooden crate to ship a LARGE cutting board to Florida
Hope this helps.

When I sent my planer in for service by the cord got cut. ( don’t ax [scared] [scared])

I took mines to a UPS store and had them package and ship it.

Easy peasy

A little late to the party, but if your dealer can't help, you might check with a lawn equipment dealer.  Not sure if they would be big enough, but string trimmers come in long boxes.
