Shipping TS55

Hi there,

I need to ship my TS55 to Claude at Festool Canada for calibration. Do you have any recommended packing/boxing tips? I don't want to send the bare Systainer!

Len,

Generally, I would recommend not including the Systainer. It's added weight for the shipment and you run the risk of damaging it in transit. Include the Plug-it cord. If it's less than a year old, Claude should provide you with a prepaid label.

UPS offers good guidelines on their website for packaging and protection.

The unit is only 10 months old, so I'll get the label. Good tip about leaving the sustainer at home.
