I’m trying to make a sysport out of some plywood I had laying around.
My question is.
What is the best way to place the dominos on the flat side of the plywood ?
The edge part goes well with my Domi-plate , but the joining piece is a bit harder to align .
Any tips?
I have seen placing the self or other plywood on top and use as a guide , but how would the machine be set up?
Thanks in advance .
Oh some pics are needed

I’m not completely clear what you’re asking - I think you want to know how to join the horizontal shelf into the vertical side?

If so check out “half inch shy’s” youtube video series - he did very detailed review/instructions on the domino and I think the one you want is here:

This is going to be hard to explain in words...

Place the side face up on the bottom the thickness of the side off the edge, alinging the front edges, clamp.

Set the pli=unge depth to 12 (assumes 6mm domino), plunge the bottom by placeing the bottom face against the side edge, set the depth to 28, lay the Domino flat on the bottom and plunge into the side. The edges should align when you stand the side into place.

Not the greastest video (then again none of mine are), it should help if you can get through it....

Here is my systainer port, made over the long weekend. The height is 900mm (864 inside) so it can also help as an extension to the MFT/3.

I would suggest watching this video:=4s, that was my inspiration ;)

Please note, that I only used dominos (no pocket screws) and I didn’t use a mockup of a shelf.
