I work at a small reclaim lumber yard and we do some custom work with materials we sell. The company is McPhee and McGinnity (denverlumberyard.com).  We are a very small and young company.  A family company with 5 full time employees and 1 part time and only open about 18 months.  The owner received a call about 1 am from Denver FD about the fire.  When he arrive the shop was gone.  Nothing was left.  He was just starting to look at insurance to cover the tools and inventory, but sadly that was a bit too late.

So, I am putting a plea out if you have any spare or are looking to downsize, please let me know.  We lost a TS 75 and track, a Rotex RO 150, ETS 150 and dust collector.

Thank you for your time.

sorry about your bad luck. My house caught on fire once when I lived in the UK. So I sort of feel what our going through.

I suggest that keep and eye on the festool recon sales.

They have some pretty good deals on recon tools.
https://www.festoolrecon.com

Ya gotta check on yer own and not wait for the email bc they go quick due to the pricing.

As they sell the recon tools at a pretty good discount.

Also check the classified here and Craiglist has some pretty good deals.

But be careful with those.

I always check a online festool deal usually Bob Marinos as his website is easiest to search through and get the prices for new tools.

That way you know what kind of deal youre getting.

Fires are terrible as a vol. Fireman I’ve seen my share, they take everything. Agree with jobsworth deals can be found but do be careful someone doesn’t take advantage of you at this low point the classified has deals to be found but even myself got scammed on our very own classified so be aware, as Seth has stated..if it sounds too good it just might be. Good luck and sorry for the loss.

I agree completely with Jobsworth regarding Festool’s Recon (reconditioned) Tool Sales.
Many of these Festool items are “brand new” - Simply returned items.
And... In my view - They’re better than new -
As the’ve been thoroughly checked and calibrated by Festool Service technicians.

I’ve bought a Recon CT 26 Dust Collector - And a Recon TS 55 REQ track saw.
Both came in original boxes - And in absolutely “new looking” condition.
Each were 25% off the regular list price.
