I'm into a wide range of music but there's some stuff i find gets me in the mood for woodworking and I like to have on in the shop every now and then just to get the creative juices flowing and a good work pace happening. I'll start off with some pretty smooth stuff then go all over the place.

Here's Mulatu Astatke

Hmm, that's not for me I'm afraid.

AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Pennywise !!!!  Then we are cooking  [big grin]

Muse, Robert Johnson, a bit of Mozart when I'm working to a deadline...the Foos rock too; good call, Woodguy!

Yea, but you sometimes have to turn down the volume on the heavy rock when cutting fine dovetails  [cool]

Huh? What's that, Darcy? You say something?

Exactly!!  [big grin]

I actually find it quite peaceful to pop on the hearing protection and listen to some machinery chew up some hardwood lumber.

For about 2 hours at a time, after that I got to get out. [big grin]

Sometimes no radio is best, especially when the crew are fighting over what to play.

Maybe its my age but the radio is usually tuned to Classic FM, I find it calming and relaxing, BUT there are times when you cannot beat The Rolling Stones cranked up to the Max!!!

Oh and dont let Woodguy convince you he is a metal head, I know for a fact he is a closet Celine Dion and Daniel O'Donnel fan!! [scared] [scared]
