I'm not sure if they're new, but this is the first time I've heard or seen this product.

That looks nice, except I would rest the rail on the back rather than on splinter strip.

Svar, my thoughts also, just mount holder upside down...I ordered two sets after watching the video.

Nice! Going to order a set of those track holders too! And yea definitely mount them upside down!
If youve got a 3D printer, these look like theyd be an easy design to copy.

i've been using the foam supports that came in the original shipping box.  Mounted them with aluminum u channel on a plywood hanger.  Going to use the Fastcap ones for my smaller rails that I currently hang from the holes in the ends.

Mount the holder cam down, store the rail splinter strip up.

The fastcap option is cool I can see if you were using them on your garage door it would be great. The downside in a shop is you have to have the footprint of each track on the wall. For the money I'd think it'd be a lot cheaper to fab a bunch of these up in one go using some plywood scraps. I bet a lot of you already have those (imo) useless Woodpecker MDF storage cases with hardware that could be pulled and used as the retention mechanism. If these were half the cost I'd be more inclined to get some, but that's just me being cheap. I wish I had the wall space to store my tracks individually either vertically or horizontally.

Yep, the FastCap things look just the ticket for garage doors and the like... just so long as you remember to snug the rails in place. Would hate to think what would happen if you rolled up the garage door and had forgotten :'(

I'll stick with my top of the range 2 nails solution. That's 8 rails hanging vertically with the footprint of only 2.

My long rails are almost permanently on the large cutting station, just for breaking down stock sheets, or stored underneath it.
The others are all stored hanging vertically on meat hooks. Very neat and tidy.
I open one end of the hook up a little, this make removing and replacing easy. I have 3-4 rails on each hook.

Works for me.

Good thread.  My two shorter rails, 44 and 59 inches, are on the lower level of my Paulk style work table.  The 106 inch rail (my track saw is a DeWalt) is currently on the lumber rack.  That works OK but the garage door seems like a great idea.  I might move it.

I purchased the Fast Cap track mounts and can confirm that they are well constructed. I mounted them on the front of shelving in the garage and now my long track is safe, secure and right at hand.

That's a nice solution for someone who has to take their rails on the road. Do you plan to add a Velcro strap or other closure on the open end to prevent the rails from sliding out during transit or has that nor been an issue so far.

With the awsome G forces experienced within my Toyota Hiace van, erm... I cant say its been an issue.
Its a snug fit so they don't really move about.
