My miter station is a bit simpler than many here.

Dewalt DW717 Kreg stop system with an additional 48" of track on the left side. I still haven't gotten around to making actual drawer fronts though. I usually make things like that from off cuts or extras from a project and nothing interesting has come up lately.
I have some chestnut at home, but I'm holding onto it for something better than that.

I don't have a shop yet, so I set up my tools outside when I work.

Here is my portable miter station that I made the same height as my MFT3. Both are also the same height as my assembly/cutting table which is also in casters.
I made a shroud for the miter station to capture some of the sawdust.

Did you ever get your shop going? This all started because of the permit delay, did you get it resolved?
If so, was there an update that I missed?

It’s definitely a work in progress, but I hope to finish it in the coming weeks.

That's a nice looking set-up you have there. I have a question though, what is in the vertical drawer to the left and how is it mounted?

I much prefer working outside, weather permitting. That's actually the reason I purchased the Kapex, CMS router table and obviously my first TS 55.

The vertical drawer has 2-20” slides, it houses a bunch of viewtainers full of screws/nails etc

I’m fortunate to have a lot of space but this could easily be shortened. The mini mft is stored to the right of the kapex so I can pull it out for quick domino jobs or take to a job site. I used phenolic plywood for the top and love it.

I would love to have all that space.

That's one hefty spice rack!  [wink]

I (and probably many others) would love to have even HALF of that space.

I guess I can't complain too much; there are plenty of in-town and near-town acreages around here with large outbuildings.  We just didn't happen to buy any of them when we moved.

Mine is based on an American Woodworker article from many moons ago.
