Sure…end of the toolbox is cut out and the drawer is made to fit snug between sides w/runners on top to hold the drawer…it can be 90% out/open position without tipping or falling out. When closed (and held in, with a scratch awl, from a combination square) the toolbox can be used normally….the other is just a bracket to hold my pin  nailer. And thanks for all your tips Seth, thru the years.

I’m a hobbyist and over the years dropped quite a bit into storage systems from Bosch, Makita, and a few Dewalts. I kept coming back to Systainers and wish I would’ve taken this route from beginning. This is my next attempt to organize multiple tools by type. Organization wise it makes sense, but in terms of deployment or field work I’m still not quite sold. I still need to find that balance of shop stored tools and working mobile. Not pictured is what I consider my EDC –  a SYS-Sort with marking tools, utility/putty knives, scrapers, and PPE. A SYS-TB2 for pullsaw, hammer/mallets, and prying tools. I recently got back into 3D printing and just beginning to scratch the surface implementing what others have designed while remixing items for personal use.

Merge of Festool SYS3 M 112 RA Socket and Organizer Centrotec Sets (577134/576932):
I like the ability to remove the bits holder from the systainer.
Bits holders and ratchets insert are 2 projects:

• The bit holders are 3d printed to fit excatly.
• The foam insert is a shaper project.

That is some custom insert. Sometimes sold on ebay.

The Systainer is a T-Loc Systainer size 3. Count the ribbons below the cardholder; it tells you what size it is.

I love the Shinex...I love the Systainer it fits in...and I love the small 80 mm backing pad.

There's a lot of stuff in this package and everything is situated such that nothing is pressing on the sponge pads to deform them.

For every day carry stuff, they really cut down the number of systainers you have to carry.  I have 2 x Sys3 L's that have nearly all of the power tools I use regularly, it's really cut down the systainer count a lot.

I'd love a taller Sys3 L to house a TSC and HKC in the same box

Nice. What do you use the C cells for?

I have most things on rechargeable batteries. Alkaline batteries tend to leak, and I _hate_ that. So if it takes AA's... I have rechargeables in it. When I bought my multifunction tester, it came with six AA's. Those went into storage and I put a set of six Eneloops in it.

I also like the new systainers - but, Festool Australia won't be bringing in the mounting rails, unfortunately.

I don't know how it happened but over the years the stuff I use for electrical connection/installation has just grown exponentially so I finally realized I had to do something about it. I decided to break down the items into 2 Systainers, Hi/Low voltage connectors and everything else.

And under the GB twist connector guide is hidden, the stuff that's needed for outdoor low voltage walkway, bollard & fence lighting.

The everything else Systainer includes wall plate screws, switch & outlet screws, fuses, cable supports & cable ties, CATV connectors, phone connectors, conduit nuts, plastic conduit bushings, yada, yada, yada.
These new SYS³ ORG M Systainers are really handy with the removable storage boxes.  [big grin]
