Side Table

Made this table entirely from wood harvested from my Dad's land.  It is a gift for him.  Other than the top (which nature made) the only special feature of this table is the shelf.  I am a little worried that it will come apart as it is solid wood, but I finished it very well and only time will tell.

The only really tricky part was getting the Dominos set at the 10 degree angle of the legs, so I set up this real simple jig to position and hold the domino.  Worked well as assembly was a snap.

I like the design.  Will you give us an update on the shelf in a year, perhaps?

Thanks for the comment, I will give an update.  HalfInchShy did a similar table top which he said worked out, but I think he may have done a better job sealing his wood.
