I happen to think it looks nice! I have an Oak sideboard that is partially finished that I need to get back to. Maybe your post will motivate me to do so!
Thanks guys. Yes it is milk paint (General Finishes). I like it better than the milk paint in the bag, last much longer than the mix up kind. This is the look my kids wanted so Dad has to make it like they want. ;D

What do you mean it lasts much longer? Does the General milk paint wear better or are you referring to pot life after mixing the powdered milk paint.
Another stupid question, did you topcoat the sideboard after applying the milk paint?

Pot life! It comes in a can just like regular paint. I did put a topcoat of waterbase Poly satin finish on top. I do not like the glossy finishes, to me the satin looks much more natural.

PS. The color is Brick Red and it is also water base.
