Nothing too fancy but I was working with 25mm birch ply and my son needed a new bed so I came up with this simple design which worked out pretty quick and pretty cheap.
I took a bullnose off all the edges, cut the side rails at 150 then another rip at 40mm to screw to the inside of the side rail for the spars to sit on. Two 8mm dominos into each side rail to end joint and a 100mm screw with a cup through into the end of the ply to hold it together. I would have used the new knock down domino if I had seen them in time.
The wife painted the surface with chalk paint, left the edges exposed because she liked them then coated the lot in wax.
