Hey guys,

Wasn't really sure where else to post this, but it's somewhat project related. :)  I put up a new site with tutorials for Sketchup focused on woodworking. Most of the ones out there show you how to build a house or something for Google Earth. Here's how to build some furniture!

http://sketchupforwoodworkers.com

Check it out and let me know what you think, what you want to see, etc! I've got six up so far and more coming soon! I've been getting tons of great feedback from people and many of them are people who stopped using Sketchup in frustration but got back into it after seeing a couple of these. Hope you guys find it useful!

Very well done and easy to follow. I do a bit in a tutorial, stop it and then try to do the same drawing in SketchUp.  :)

Cannikin,
Thanks for posting.  A lot of people here use SketchUp.  But many of us are still kind of confused about how to use it (myself included).  It would be great to have a resident expert around to answer questions!

By the way, I moved this into the "Member Connections" area.  Your expertise kind of fits in a couple of places, actually.

We also have SketchUp-related discussions going on in the Computers, Gadgets, Technology board.  Feel free to post more information over there any time.

Thanks again for joining, and please help us out with SketchUp!

Stay in touch,
Matthew

Cannikin,

Nice tutorials there with SketchUp. SketchUp is one of my most used computer tools.

Thanks for posting....and welcome to the FOG.
