Had my ts55 for many years, for some reason today I looked underneath it and found 2 grooves worn in the base! Guess it's time to replace the slideway lining strips (as I now know they are called) on the guide rail. Have replaced the splinter strip many times but never replaced the green slippery ones as never found them a problem. How often do other people replace them?
