Hey guys,
I am in the process of building this barn door and I am looking for some input on how to put the door together. Currently I plan on using tongue and groove between all the vertical boards. For the top and bottom I am thinking a 3" deep mortise with matching tenon on each end of the vertical boards. From there i was thinking doweling through the tenon.
Does this design accommodate movement? Does the ends get glued or just at the dowel?
Thanks in advance
