Just wondering if anyone who has the router slide for the MFS could give me the dimensions on how wide the slot is for the router bit to pass through? And do you think it could be widened without compromising the integrity of the slide, weakening it such that it might flex under the weight of a heavy router like the 2200?
I'm wondering if I could use it for certain router planing operations, where my preference would be to employ a large 1 1/2" straight bit.
