I just wrapped this job up this weekend. It's a really small kitchen in an older neighborhood in Phoenix. The house belonged to a former colleague of mine that decided to join the priesthood and move to New Zealand. His god son is in the process of buying the place and should be moving in soon so I had to get all the loose ends tied up this weekend.
All of the boxes are prefinished birch, dominoed for alignment and screwed together. The doors/drawer fronts and mouldings are all poplar. I usually do solid wood drawer boxes but these are 1/2" prefinished birch, pocket screwed together.
I wasn't sure about the moulding on the base cabinets but they wanted it. I'll be interested to see how much of a beating it's going to take.
