This is the table, I'm building two of them, to go with the chairs for my first customer.  Started with 8/4 cypress and milled to 1.75" for the legs.  I joined them together with the apron with dowels, thanks to Dowelmax for making it easier and accurate.  The top was done by mitering the perimeter pieces using the Qwas dogs at a 45 on the MFT.  The miters were pretty good but I used a little bit of filler to hide any gaps.  Their are also doweled.  The center slats were done with dowels too.  Finally, I attached the top using the Kreg pocket screws.  Still have to paint this weekend but it went together pretty easily.

Congratulations on your first commission [thumbs up]
Nice project too.
Rob.

Thanks, guys.  A domino would have made things easier and faster.  I suppose I can add it to my wish list.  The profit will allow me to either:  get a Kapex reconditioned unit or put a 25% down payment on a Hammer K3 Winner slider.  Right now, I'm leaning towards the slider.  As versatile as is the Kapex, it can't rip.

The Hammer K3 looks damn nice. And it's a quality machine. Hope your new business venture goes well.

Nice table. More pictures would be nice  ;)

I finished them up this morning and my brother picked them up for delivery.  [big grin]  He told me he thought he had more orders for me.  I'll detail the constructiion process on the next set.  I REALLY missed my Domino on those tables.  I had one early on but ended up selling it when I found I wasn't using it much and needed the money.  [embarassed]  If I can get enough orders, I'll get another one and keep it this time.  Putting in the slats would have been a lot easier.
