SittingElf, how did you happen to find these deals?
I'd love to take full credit, but I happened to notice a post on Sawmill Creek and followed up. Thought I'd let the Festool big $$ spenders know of the deal, so I posted in on FOG! There were only two replies to the SMC post...including mine! Now look at how fast the guys HERE jumped!! [tongue] Love picking up Euro gear at a discount!
I mailed myself a Priority Mail box last week from Germany to get here later this week. As soon as it gets here, I'll be posting Toolies, Festool Swiss knives, Festool Safety glasses (by Uvex), Blade Bags, and Festool Clocks in the classifieds. Stay tuned!
I'm having a good month. In addition to the Festool Vacu-Clamping system I bought in Germany, I also purchased a PSC420 with a 110V charger, and ToolNut shipped the accessory kit which arrived yesterday. On top of that, I scored an LS130 with five bases barely used, if at all, at a really good price. Add to that the Centrotec Installers Kit, 10-bit router set, Centrotec manual driver kit, both the long and short Festool Stabila levels, Carvex blades, four Sortainers, Sys-Cart,and other items including the Mini-Cooper Festool model, and I'm well on my way to converting my workshop to a Green Machine! [big grin] I also took advantage of a Euro special on an 8-bit Bormax Forstner bit sale from Famag that included a 5-liter barrel of an EXCELLENT German Beer. My Italian 20" bandsaw will be here in two weeks as well.
Always on the lookout for Euro-made item deals!
Cheers,
Frank
