SMOKING HOT DEAL on Bessey 24" and 40" Revo clamps on Amazon

I just received 3 of the Bessey klikclamps and while they were a good deal at 10$ each they are pretty flimsy feeling. The difference between them and the festool click clamp is kind of outrageous.

The klikclamps are pretty nice. I think they are more durable than they appear. I've had 6 of them for several years with no problems.

I did see them in person at lowes last week and TBH I'm glad I cancelled my order. Not nearly the strength of clamping I expect, the steel ones mentioned by someone else here would probably be more to my liking, or just stick with the good ole screw clamps.

that was me
these tools
Buy-Bessey-Rapid-Action-Clamps.jpg
Bessy Rapid Action Clamps

These are way better than the screw type clamps & these apply pressures of 600+lbs  with a simple pulling the trigger with one hand
that would take just a second to tighten
where the screw type  it takes me way more time & the use of both hands , I could  set & tighten 4 or more  of these in the time it took just one screw type .
the cheaper Bessey  plastic handled  ones they can't be set as tight as these can be .

Yup, that's them and thanks for the heads up. At $49 ea for the steel ones at vsctools the screw clamps would be cost savings but I like the quick lever action. Either way I'll need to save up a bit after springing for 20 bar clamps [eek]

Are the Bessey LC4 clamps about the same size as the Festool rapid clamp?  If so, I think I'll stick to the Festool ones, and if I need larger, then I'll get the Bessey LC8 or bigger.

Bessey's site has the exact measurements  but I think the LC-4 is actually a little smaller

the LC-4's I ordered should be in a few days so i'll take a pix of them side by side with my LC-8 & LC-12 ' s that I got from VSCT  3 weeks ago , i'll throw in a ruler for reference .

for $10 each, I am willing to try a couple of those out.  I know they are much weaker than the all metal ones, but maybe a couple will be fine for light duty work.

All the clamps are here now and not a single sign of shipping damage on all 8 boxes. Thanks again elf for the heads up on the deal as well as going prime, without which I'd still be waiting.

Now you have your new Revos you might like to see what else you can do with them rather than just normal parallel clamping.

Try this:

Does anyone know if you can easily turn a non-vario type Revo into a vario clamp (For the 40"ers for example)?

Using:
Adjustable Jaw Spare Part ~$20 on Amazon

To make Vario clamp:
Vario Clamp

From standard Revo:
Revo Clamp

I do not know the answer but from what you have shown in the links it looks possible but...

Can the Revo head end be removed and is it worth it - $20 for the new head plus the cost of the standard Revo ?
