I know there has been a lot of insight into the last few Woodpecker releases... but I saw in an email this morning that the Snappy cabinet drill set for Festool is on sale... down to $69.99.  I have this set and it is a great compliment to the CXS if you have one.

We've been selling them for quite sometime now, maybe a full year.  Same to be the same fit and finish as all other Snappy, which is fantastic.  Folks have been happy.

Wanted to grab a set from Woodpeckers, but their shipping costs to west coast are so high.  $12?? The same with their drill press table -  $36 to ship?? Ouch

An English FOG user is picking it up for me in the USA.
Should arrive at the end of the month.
Although Trend UK were also willing to send a set from USA to Europe for me.
I wish that Festool or Trend/Snappy will design more Centrotec compatible bits.

Thanks for the heads up, but..  I can by them for $ 70 +$ 12 shipping from Woodpeckers OR ....$ 90 with free shipping from Festoolproducts.com?

What I really need is the vix-type bits by themselves since I have most of the other bits in the cabinetmakers kit. I thought I'd splurge since they were on sale, but the shipping cost is a deal breaker.
Guess I'll have to wait until Snappy expands their product line.

I"ve got a set just like this one. I picked it up on US eBay plus 3 other sets. Had my mother in law to be bring them over for me back to UK. I paid $47 for the lot, kept a set in the photo above and sold rest on UK eBay, got my money back and also made some to top it all of. It is a great little set. I had entering bit set with standard ¼" hex shanks but since getting controtec compatible ones, I have sold them to. Highly recommended and if you break any of the bits you can replace them with those sold by Trend/Snappy UK.

I would have liked to see a bigger range but that would be probably quite expensive especially here in the UK.
