So there I was sitting in the office putzing around, and noticed the brown Christmas truck pull up to the neighbor's house. Didn't think much of it, 'cuz I got nothing on order. But then it stopped at my house next. ??

Hmmm, that's odd.

Maybe I ordered some parts for my son's truck and forgot....But that was about the time I saw the driver's 2-wheeler tumble out the door....well that certainly wouldn't be needed for some tailgate hinges.

So I got up, and as I opened the front door, I started seeing a couple of Festool logos appear from the wayback Christmas compartment in the truck. Oooooh My! Box after box tumbled forward to the front door.  [eek] With a couple of little schoolgirl skips, I was at the end of the driveway for a closer look.

5 unknown boxes, but one of them was immediately obvious as a guide rail. "Holy cow, the new saw," I exclaimed to the driver. But that didn't explain all the other boxes. I wonder what those drivers think when they seen grown men hop up and down, like a child in front of the ice cream truck.  [tongue]

So I opened up the most unusual box first. A huge tripod....oh my....it must be the SysLite Duo!!!!

Yup. Man that puppy is bright!!! This is my new best friend.

But why was the other box so big? .......Oh! ...........Both HK55 and HKC55 saws!

All in all, I got:
  • SysLite Duo
  • Tripod
  • HK55
  • HKC55
  • FSK420 Track
  • Guide Rail Bag
  • Parallel Guide
  • Panther Blade
  • Combo Blade
I haven't heard from Festool in a while, so I'm not even sure who to thank, although I do have a pretty good idea who he is.  [big grin]

I take it we can soon look forward to a few new supplemental manuals?  [tongue]

Oh, and it goes without saying, "nice score!"  [big grin]

Not that I'm aware of. No manual was mentioned. If it had, I couldn't have posted this, because I automatically treat anything like that as confidential, whether asked to or not.

Rick, I think it was all just mis delivered to you by mistake, and should be packed up and sent to me... [blink]

Nice haul, enjoy! [smile]

Hmmm, I guess it must take longer for shipments to get here from Indy.  [scratch chin]

Yeah, it's strange, and I wonder why all the boxes had SHO written on the sides?

Ha, too funny.  [tongue]

For those that don't know, my email address when I worked at Festool was "sho" at festoolusa.com.
