So, who's sold their ETS125 recently ?

Time to fess up, who's sold their old 125mm sander because they're getting a new Pro5 in two weeks ?

Looks like around 15 have sold on fleabay in the last ten days or so, and I bet Craigslist has seen a fair share too.

I just bought an ETS125 in a classic systainer for $130 on craiglist a couple days ago.  Pretty good deal IMO.  Is Festool coming out with a new model or something?

Damn!  I knew I missed an opportunity to get rid of that old thing in the old systainer and update!  I should have bought 10 of those at that price!

  Well, maybe...... [wink]  There are long threads on the updated Pro 5 sander deal.  Make of it what you will, but in the meantime, ENJOY your sander that you bought....It is a nice sander.... [thumbs up]

I sold mine the day after the promotion was announced (and I had ordered a PRO5).

I didn't want to take advantage of the buyer, so I listed my ETS125 for C$100 (here the PRO5 is almost $150 after tax and a new ETS is $300 or so), told him about the new sanders coming to market and threw in a bunch of sandpaper. The sander was in perfect working condition.

So I can look forward to my new Festool, and feel happy that the buyer got a good well-priced tool too.

Within minutes of getting a sales flier, I ordered a new systainer for $99 and got a $50 rebate and a free Pro 5 sander  thrown in.  Two hours later, I ordered another.......

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That reminds me of used prices on Festools here; no warranty left, years old, classic systainer, worn out blade / bit and still not even 35% off.

Festool should buy an add at CL for the new sander deal  [tongue]

Well, in fairness to myself, I should point out that mine saw very very little use and had the T-Loc. But yeah between the voucher and my sales price I feel I'm $100 ahead on the deal.
