Hey folks! I’m a new poster to the forum but a longtime Festool user and forum reader.
I’m in the middle of a big build which could justify a Vac Sys setup. Learning that Festool discontinued them last winter sent me on a bit of a search. I was fortunate to locate and pay for/secure an SE2 system that was “yet to be shipped” but there was no guarantee it was going to arrive. That prompted me to keep searching to avoid loosing out if the store didn't get the unit.
After securing the "possible" SE2, I located a store with an SE1 floor model but they were missing the clamp systainer. Next, I found another SE1 floor model with a systainer. I figured I’d buy it so I could choose what I wanted to keep if my deposit SE2 fell through. The next day I decided to look a bit more and found a third setup. This time it was a brand new SE1 setup. I called over two hundred stores to find these!
All that said, my SE2 shipped and I now havethree, two, one SE1 setup for sale (Item 201064 and 201065). All three were purchased at the end of last month so they still have their warranty once registered. Each set will ship with the original sale receipt so you can register without hassle. (1) without systainer - $1400 SOLD on eBay for $1700+ shipping, (1) with systainer - SOLD on eBay. The third unit is brand new - asking $1800 here. I'd prefer to sell without eBay as they take a 13% transaction fee.
