It seems like I often miss out on classes because I'm slammed with work when they are happening. Now things are dead and I'm dying to get in on a solid surface class. I'm sure many others are in the same economic boat as me. Gotta make hay while the sun is shining.
So let me get top the point, put me down for the next solid surface class. Don't suppose we can start Thursday? ;D
Is one in the works for the not too distant future?

Jeff,

Let me tell you, the Solid Surface Fabrication classes trained by Steve Bace in Henderson, NV are outstanding. I mean, Steve is Mr. Solid Surface Training in that industry!

Therefore I consider myself so fortunate to have been one of the six participants in the first Festool Solid Surface class in February 2011. I own a large custom cabinet shop, so working with various counter-top contractors is a fact of my business life. I wanted to learn from Steve how I can make my cabinets so as to reduce the frustrations of the counter-top folks. My secondary reason for the class was to decide if it would make sense for my to rent time on my CNC machines to solid surface fabricators without CNC routers. In the few minutes after we began routing our first solid surface material I realized no way could I live with that in my shop. Steve pointed out that even with excellent dust collection, it is not wise to fabricate solid surface and wood in the same building.

Festool did have another SS class this year, May or June I think. Currently there are no classes listed for Henderson, NV. That is where most likely another SS class would be held, because so many of the special tools used are the personal property of Steve Bace. So, maybe first Q 2013?
