It was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm building 50 linear feet of storage cabinets for my workshop and am using Domino 500 connectors to assemble the cabinets (ten cabinets, each five feet wide). To speed up the assembly process I used my T15+3 to drive the screws into the KV expanding plug and promptly snapped off the tip of the screw in the plug after expanding the plug. Prior experience taught me how to remove the plug after one has been expanded, but I decided to take a different approach this time because I didn't want to patch the panel after extracting the plug. My solution(?) was to use JB Weld epoxy to glue the screw into the plug. Not the best solution, but I figured it was worth a try, and in the worse case I can drill out the plug and repair the hole (it's hidden once assembled, so no big deal).

My question to FOG is have you had this happen and what was your solution? I also decided to install the rest of the connectors (there are a total of 55 connectors) only by hand, because after all, power tools are the quickest way to get to a mistake, hand tools being the slowest way. [wink]
