Sortainer Drawer Stuck!!

Anyone else ever have a drawer get stuck closed by something inside getting shifted around during transport?

How do I get it opened now?

It happens occasionally and usually with something like screws.

Try working it back and forth gently and if that doesn't work, try taking out all of the drawers that aren't stuck and turn it upside-down while gently working the stuck drawer back and forth.

With enough persistence or if you get lucky quickly, it should eventually release.

12 inch stainless ruler. Sortainer universal key. Works every time.

Bottom drawer in a 4 drawer sortainer, I think its a screw driver. I will try the ruler trick. thanks!

Eli's ruler trick will probably do it. Or shake with the drawer closed side to side so as to shift things around. Something to note are the alignment tabs that stick down into the drawer space about an 1/8".  If something is up just a little too high these will catch when you slide the drawer open.

If something gets under the dividers as well. But I don't tilt more than thirty degrees or so, and always have the ruler handy. For her bottom drawer.
